Spilling my feelings, spilling my thoughts.

Trying to untangle my mental knots.

Using these words to connect the dots.

Mentally pulling the trigger, tell me... can you hear the shots?

Mental squats to increase my strength by the lots.

I encourage you to find yourself, take a mental trot.

My plans are set in stone, connect plots.

One mind and its mine, using it until I rot.

Life is the experience prior to death. Death is the experience after life. These concepts define each other like yin and yang. I personally have no certain knowledge of what will happen or happens after death occurs. But, I can speak on life. Life is the journey for one to find themselves and realize who they really are. When analyzing life, one must bring in the aspect of growth and change. Although my knowledge of death is limited, I know that if a person is not living to grow in some aspect of their life, they are dying. Life is the chance to make something of the opportunities given to an individual. Opportunity will always exist in life, whether it knocks on your door, or you have to knock on its door. The only question is, will we seize the opportunities when they present themselves? Fear nothing. Fear of failure is pointless because no matter how many failures or accomplishments one person has, death is inevitable. Whether a person fears death or not, it will still take you. When death comes, life will be complete. It will bring something that has been anticipated. It will bring something unknown. So I suggest that our generation break the mold and relish in the opportunity to be alive today and seize the opportunities that we see. I say this because life and death are both a part of the human experience and will be experienced by all, so we should make the most of the most important time of all, which is.....   RIGHT FREAKING NOW!

A moment in time and a quiet place is all we need

In a race for your heart, I hope I am in the lead

If not, I am gaining on the leader with God's speed

I would write love letters that you could read and reread

Netflixing all night through dull moments, seasons on repeat

We can go anywhere, a hometown bar or drinks on Wall Street

Would you prefer me to show you off or to be discreet?

A mutual benefit for us. I teach you, you teach me.

But I will not try to contain nor capture thee

Instead I will admire your flight, like a bird flying free

Ready to exercise my green thumb and plant our family tree

I'm only pursing this vision if it is something you can also see

But until we know for sure, we can wait until its a guarantee.

A world at peace, is it such a far fetched dream?

As I plot out schemes with members of my team, our conversations about things to come, and goals to achieve often drift to thoughts of a world at peace.

Do know about being so attached to an idea that it keeps you up at night?

Human suffering at this stage in our long history on this planet is plain evidence of greed causing violence, that's hidden out of sight.

I toss and turn at night knowing so many people don't have a place to lay their head down at night.

While others live so lavish.. is it because the poor don't know how to play the game?

Is that humanity's fatal flaw? Are we living out our lives like a character in a play penned by Shakespeare's paw?

All leading up to that final curtain call..

I often awake from dreams where I've solved the fatal flaw. But only to forget it as soon as I get up and yawn with my jaws.

We can write our own script, we just have to learn how... just control the little voice that you're reading with now.
